러시아에서 남성들을 유인해 온갖 성적 학대를 가해온 ‘암거미’가 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

교미 후 수컷을 빨아먹는 암컷 거미에 빗대 ‘암거미’라는 별명이 붙은(be nicknamed as ‘Female Spider’) 이 여성은

원래 평범한 여대생이었던 것으로 밝혀졌다.

러시아 탐보프 지역 경찰은 최소한 10명의 남성을 상대로 해괴한 범죄를 저지른

(commit perverse crimes against at least ten males) 혐의로

여성 성폭행범 발레리아 K를 체포(arrest a female rapist named Valeria K)했다고 20일(현지시각) 밝혔다.

 

경찰에 체포된 '암거미' 발레리아 K

이 여성은 술에 미키핀(마약 등을 탄 술)을 독주에 넣어(slip a Mickey Finn into their strong drinks)

남자들에게 마시게 한 뒤 잔인한 성적 학대를 가해온(expose them to brutal sexual abuse) 것으로 알려졌다.

발레리아 K라는 이름의 이 여성은 올해 32세로,

거미 수집을 해왔으며(have been collecting spiders),

공포영화의 열렬한 팬(be a big fan of thrillers)인 것으로 밝혀졌다.

그녀는 남자들을 자신의 집으로 유인해(lure men into her abode)

마약성분이 든 독주를 마시게 한(give them strong drinks with narcotic substance in them) 뒤

자신의 끔찍한 성적 환상을 실행하는 데 이용해온(use them to realize her hideous sexual fantasies) 것으로 드러났다.

발레리아는 탐보프대학교에 재학했으며,

사람들의 이목을 끌려고 한 적이 없는(never try to attract public attention to herself) 학생이었던 것으로 전해졌다.

그러나 그녀는 남자들에게 끔찍한 존재로 바뀌었으며(turn out to be a nightmare to her men),

교미 후에 수컷을 빨아 말라 죽게 하는(suck her males dry after copulation) 암거미처럼

희생자들을 다뤘던(treat her victims as a female spider) 것으로 밝혀졌다.

친구들에 따르면,

발레리아는 공포 영화와 거미 종류의 열혈 팬이었다(be a big fan of horror films and spidery creatures)고 한다.

특히 이른바 ‘블랙 위도우’(검은 미망인·암컷이 수컷을 잡아먹는 흑거미)에 관한 이야기에 크게 매료돼

(be greatly attracted to the stories about the so-called Black Widow) 있었다.

그녀가 알게 된 모든 남자들(all her male acquaintances)은

잇따라서 병원 환자가 되는(become hospital patients, one after another) 운명을 맞게 됐다.

남자들은 발레리아와 밀회를 가진 뒤 어김없이 병원으로 실려갔고

(be hospitalized after their romantic meeting with Valeria),

모두 클로니딘(혈압강하제) 중독과 성 학대 징후 진단을 받았다

(be diagnosed with clonidine poisoning and indications of sexual abuse).

발레리아를 알게 된 남성들의 이야기

(the men’s stories of their acquaintance with Valeria)는 모두 똑같다(be identical).

그들이 기억할 수 있는 모든 것(all that they could remember)은

그녀와의 만남(their meeting with the woman)과

집에 가서 와인 한 잔 하자는 초대(her invitation to come and visit her place to have some wine) 뿐이다.

발레리아는 남자들이 정신을 잃으면 생식기를 고무띠로 묶고 난

(strap the men’s genitals with a rubber binder) 뒤

뭐든지 하고 싶은대로 했던(do whatever she wanted to do with them) 것으로 조사됐다.

경찰 수사 결과, 발레리아는 최소한 10명의 남자들을 유린한(violate at least ten men) 것으로 밝혀졌다.

29세인 데니스 F라는 남성은 음경에 중대한 부상을 입어(suffer a severe injury of the penis)

결국 약혼녀와 헤어지기도(break up with his fiancee) 했다.

그러나 피해자 중 어느 누구도 발레리아를 경찰에 신고하지

(file a police report against the woman) 않은 것으로 알려졌다.
